Gary Ashcroft Internet Education Foundation

Gary is a Fellow at the Internet Education Foundation (IEF) focused on content moderation issues. Previously he was a National Security Fellow at Third Way, where his commentary on surveillance, privacy, Congressional investigations, and foreign election meddling appeared in Lawfare, The Hill, Washington Examiner, and U.S. News and World Report. He was a 2015 Google Policy Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, where he researched Internet governance, cybersecurity legislation, and online radicalization.

He has a JD from the University of Georgia School of Law and a BA in international relations from Brigham Young University.
